Overview

This position is responsible for ensuring accurate record keeping, preparing, reviewing, and analyzing reports.

Responsibilities

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

  • General responsibility for assigned area/capacity of Electronic Gaming Devices (EGD) operation during assigned shift.
  • Ensures that all personnel are informed of and comply with all relative Federal, State, and internal policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Responsible for the training, development, counseling, and necessary discipline, within assigned parameters.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Manages subordinates in the Slot Department.
  • Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems of employees and guests.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of related gaming management experience within a TAD/Slot department or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience
  • Must have some work experience in Class 2 & Class 3 gaming operations
  • Must possess knowledge of the technical detail of all Slot machines and systems
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must have strong leadership skills to include employee relations and development, problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure
  • Must be able to follow and enforce strict procedural guidelines maintained within the department
  • Good computer skills to include Word and Excel
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and other team members
  • Must be able to work a varied schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays

 

Work Environment:

  • Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in the back of house of the casino, which can be faced-paced with excessive noise. Also, there may be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
