ATTENDANT I - WAREHOUSE

POSITION SUMMARY:

The position of a Warehouse Attendant is of the utmost importance, as they are accountable for the safekeeping and appropriate handling of the entire inventory of the Warehouse. This might be an entry-level profile; however, the job requires expertise and proficiency. A Warehouse Attendant reports to all Warehouse Management team members and is required to carry out all tasks as assigned to him/her by their superior. This kind of work deals with skills and knowledge rather than high educational qualifications. Warehouse Attendants are required to work at a quick pace to meet deadlines. The importance of the timely delivery of goods and merchandise to the correct destinations in an apt manner, has led to the role of Warehouse Attendant becoming invaluable. The role requires Attendants to have strength and stamina to cope with physical functions. The role of a Warehouse Attendant is crucial for the Casino.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Showing up on time and ready to work with a clean appearance.
• Delivering a great attitude and effort in your daily work.
• Following Warehouse rules and safety guidelines.
• Proper Stocking, Pulling and Delivering of the inventory in the warehouse.
• Loading and unloading of goods and supplies, ensuring proper rotation, dating and handling of goods.
• Ensuring the cleanliness and stocking of inventory in the work area.
• Maintaining quality in the warehouse and keeping track of all damaged inventory and reporting the same to the supervising authorities.
• Coordinating all work functions with team associate and other departments of the organization.
• Perform all assigned task by the supervising authorities efficiently and timely.
• Ensuring that the qualities of goods are compliant with the company standards.
• Conduct weekly spot counts to verify the appropriate inventory balance.
• Maintaining and servicing of all warehouse equipment (Forklifts, Pallet jacks and carts) as well as handling them appropriately.

EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

(Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis)

• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule. 
• High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalency preferred. 
• Ability to read and write English required. 
• Must have good communication skills and maintain friendly personable attitude at all times. 

ABILITY TO:

• Should possess strong time management skills and be able to meet targeted deadlines.
• Should possess an effective working attitude and clean appearance.
• Should have the ability to lift all goods and materials.
• Should have the ability to conduct all assigned work and tasks competently.
• Should be a team player and have the capacity to synchronize with associates.
• Should be familiar with all the Rules of the warehouse and possess the ability to operate Store room machinery.
• Should efficiently coordinate working with internal and external team members.
